Whiteshill started very brightly scoring twice and had all of the play in the half. Goalkeeper Dave Holmes had an easy time of it, only occaisionly having to come out and clear a through ball.

After the restart for the second half Whiteshill helped out the opposition with two freak own goals in the first five minutes. To make matters worse Golden Valley slotted a good goal a few minutes later, leaving Whiteshill to wonder how they were 3-2 behind!
Gradually they pulled their heads together and began to play with Louis Blyth scoring from all of 25 yards, for the second game in a row. The game ended with literally the last kick of the game, a penalty for hand ball. Jamie Ettenfield drove the penalty kick past the keeper straight down the middle, after which the referee blew the final whistle with not even time for the restart! Well done Whiteshill.
